Autism Acceptance from Times Square to Staten Island

New York, NY – August 23 – Garvey’s Irish Pub, led by an owner, J.P. Delaney, is thrilled to announce the debut of an exclusive beverage, the “GRACE’s Bliss.” This innovative creation, inspired by the French martini, offers a unique blend of flavors and an even more unique purpose: supporting The GRACE Foundation of New York’s efforts to better the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

The Impact of Autism and The GRACE Foundation’s Mission**

ASD affects a significant portion of the population, with the current rate being 1 in 36. The GRACE Foundation has been a leader in making a profound difference in the lives of those diagnosed with ASD, offering a diverse array of programs and services to enhance the quality of life for affected individuals and their families.

The “GRACE’s Bliss” Initiative: More Than a Drink

The “GRACE’s Bliss” drink is more than a delicious blend; it’s a symbol of Garvey’s Pub’s commitment to celebrate uniqueness and make a positive difference in the ASD community. A portion of the proceeds from this exclusive beverage will directly support GRACE’s initiatives.

J.P. Delaney, an owner of Garvey’s Irish Pub, stated, “At Garvey’s Pub, we believe that every individual is beautifully unique, just like our ‘GRACE’s Bliss’ drink. By supporting the GRACE Foundation, we aim to celebrate these unique qualities and make a positive difference in the lives of those in the ASD community.”

In a harmonious collaboration with this initiative, GRACE has crafted an “I Can Candle” to be sold at Garvey’s. This specialty candle complements the “GRACE’s Bliss” drink with infusions of fresh citrus and Chambord, further spreading good cheer and autism acceptance.

Building Bridges: A Partnership Beyond Beverages

This collaboration emerged from the “Dan on the Street” initiative and the upcoming Times Square video advertising campaign, set to launch on #givingtuesday later this year.

Dan Ryan, a representative of the campaign, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “Creating the GRACE’s Bliss drink in conjunction with the specialty candle will continue to spread good cheer and autism acceptance. We are excited to bring “Dan on the Street” and our new partnership to Times Square Nasdaq board with a #givingtuesday GRACE campaign in November followed by a lunch and celebration drink at Garvey’s.”
